Pin Squat

 The Pin Squat.

Find your squat fires out of the hole but you just cannot drive it all the way?

Try this.

Set the rack with pins in line with the bottom of your squat.

Then rack the bar up on those pins, at the bottom.

From there you start off at the bottom.

This will eliminate the stretch reflex out of the bottom.

It will build sheer strength at your lowest point.

Each rep you bring the bar to a stop on pins without breaking form.

Then you fire back up.

Another thing this can fix.

Your weakest part of your squat. Your fail point.

When going close to failure, or failure. You will have a point where you slow right down or come to a dead stop and its rep over.

Now raise or set the pins to that exact spot or an inch below.

Now this is where you're going to start your squat from.

Focusing your start of your squat at your weakest part. Building strength and power through that range.

Now over time your weak spot may shift but you can still apply this to whatever stage you're at and hopefully you're applying it a stronger heavier squat.
